We have fixed a problem with the statistics. The stats appeared to be showing February stats in the pull down menu when it was actually showing March stats. It now defaults to March and February stats are available as well. Sorry for the confusion.

In response to a lot of feedback by publishers and subscribers we have decided to eliminate the email validation process for registered Cumuli users. Which will allow registered users who are logged in to vote without responding to an email.

We have created a new way to login and edit your Ezine listings. You will need to register with Cumuli to attach existing Ezines to your NEW account. You should have received instructions by email on 2/10/2004. If not then your editor's email address may be bouncing.

We have created some general questions that you can answer in the Publisher Q and A section of you account. Your answers will show up on your detail page and give visitors a better idea of what you Ezine is about. This is an optional feature.

We have tried to preserve all existing offsite links to the Ezine Finder so that they still will function but be sure to check out our new links.

We have abandoned our rating system in favor of a voting system.

Below is an outline of how our new system works.

- One vote per person per day.
- Email validation of votes.
- Ezines with more votes will show up higher in searches.
- Votes will start over every year.

Reasons for the Change:

The rating system was overly complex and difficult to police. This should eliminate a lot of the issues we've had with people abusing the system. And since it resets every year it should encourage all Ezines to participate throughout the year.

The goal of the voting system is to get more visitors to the Ezine Finder and more potential subscribers for Ezines listed in the Ezine Finder. This change should help in that effort.

Current Vote Totals:

The current vote totals include the total number of ratings that Ezines have gotten so far this year.
